MPA Scottish Wedding Photographer of the Year !!!

I'm extremely proud to announce that I am the Wedding Photographer of the Year at the 2010 Scottish MPA Awards!

I have also won Classic Wedding Photographer of the Year for the 2nd year running.

There were hundreds of entries for the wedding categories so to come out on top is an absolute honour and a dream come true.

Eilidh & I just want to write you a few quick words to show our gratitude for the photographs you took at our wedding in the Balmoral Hotel on the 8th of May.


Eilidh & I spend much time deliberating over choosing a photographer as we wanted not only high quality images but some fun and life injected into them and boy did you deliver. Not only are your shots of excellent quality and full of the fun and life that we love about our relationship, but they were a joy to take. Throughout the entire day we felt like you were a friend not a 'vendor', a term that I hate by the way. We chatted, joked and had a great time; were completely at ease and never felt like our toes were been stepped on.

Wedding Show tomorrow

I shall be at the Waterside Hotel wedding show tomorrow between 6.30pm and 9pm.

Edinburgh Wedding

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Patrick and Eilidh at The Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh.

With the sun out we most the most of a trip up to Calton Hill which has a beautiful panoramic views of Edinburgh.

Our Daughter

We're delighted to announce the birth of our Daughter Amy.

Weighing 7lbs and 6oz she was born at 6.30am on Tuesday the 6th of April at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

As you can imagine, Daddy has taken quite a few photos already : )

We're at Meldrum House wedding exhibition tomorrow from 1pm-5pm.

Pittodrie House wedding and other info

Firstly, congratulations to Mharii and Danny (Image E) who won the poll. I honestly thought I there would be around 100 votes. Turned out that there were 1600 votes in the end...phew!

The poll didn't seem to work properly so I shall also be sending an enlargement to Kevin and Lindsay (Image D).

The AECC exhibition was a great success! Looks like I shall be having a busy 2010 and 2011.

So, here is the wedding of Suzanne and David.

Suzanne was wishing for a white wedding. She certainly got it! It was -4 at one point. Great fun though : )
